My name is April Thomas and I am 25 years old. I have been on this program for a year and 3 months. Not only have I knocked off 13 pounds of PURE fat, but I have added several pounds of LEAN muscle.
If you had asked me a year ago what all of this meant, I wouldn’t have had a clue. I frequented the Chick-Fil-A on a daily basis during the week, ordering a 12-piece nugget, large fry, coke, and brownie! Yuck!! That was my lunch, not to mention all of the candy, fried foods, and desserts I would eat before during and after meals. So, to make up for it, I would go to the gym and do the same simple routine day in and day out and make myself feel better. Meanwhile, my body wasn’t tricked into changing a thing and as a result, I gained and gained. Like so many of you, I SIMPLY DIDN’T KNOW ANY BETTER. I knew that my eating habits weren’t good and my exercise routines were lacking but I didn’t know there was a solution to my problem. I just hoped that one day it would stop somehow.
Then, I found Perfect Personal Training and Perfect Portions Catering. The trainers in this program were teachers. I didn’t show up, do some off-the-wall routine and go home and eat the usual. I LEARNED. I learned how my body was reacting to the foods I was eating as well as how my body was responding toward the exercises. I learned what foods were good and why and which ones were no-no’s. I started to find myself teaching my friends when they would ask me what I was doing to make me look so good and how I was able to work work work and feel great at the end of the day! I was even able to come off of my medicine that I was taking for Crohn’s disease (which I now know came from a poor diet). The trainers took their time with me; they quickly recognized my weaknesses and turned them into strengths. I began to have the Perfect Portions lunch and dinner meals delivered right to my house! No more trying to figure out what and how to cook or worrying, “Should I eat that?” It was so convenient and affordable.
